I did that...

Yep. I had a horrible dream a few nights ago where I literally woke up screaming. I thought there was a massive, like size of a toddler, purple mosquito thing about to attack me. My scream scared the crap out of G and he jumped out of bed and banged up his arm in the process. He was not happy with me and I was not happy with him for being upset with me when it was just a bad, bad dream (if anything, aside for the wound, it was pretty funny). He told a few people about it and they thought it was funny too. So he realized he should not be so hard on me about it. We now laugh about it, but I do feel bad about the boo boo. Ouch!

Spring around TAMU

I love all the wild flowers. Here are some buttercups that popped up on campus.
Clock Tower at sunset.
Just a few pennies on Sully for some good luck...
Legend has it if you walk under this tree, called the Century Tree, with your sig other, you will get married.
Texas is known for all the (monster) trucks, but I have never been to a campus where there are so many bikes!

Fort Worth!

G and I went to Fort Worth last weekend. I had an interview there. I was victorious and thus I will be moving to Fort Worth this summer...
Cowtown - Fort Worth Stockyards
G eating some cow (this boy LOVES steak)

Cowtown Coliseum

G eating an AWESOME burger from Kincaid's. I will become a regular here...

Waiting for our beverages at The Flying Saucer and enjoying the great weather. G said his beer tasted like a blueberry slurpee (trust me, it did not).

Costa Rica: Check

G and I have booked a few days in Costa Rica at the end of May!

We will only have 3 full days on the ground, but it will have to do due to time and dinero constraints.

Our plan:
1. Sunshine
2. River rafting
3. See a sloth

Copperhead Road

Had another Texas moment this past weekend...

It involved something called Copperhead Road. And it has its own dance.

As the interim advisor for MSC ALOT, I was at their FLO (just think lots of college freshmen) Formal. All of them were dolled up and fist pumping and such to various jams.

But then Copperhead Road, a country song from the 80s I had never heard, is played and about 300 of them start doing this line dance and hollering along. I was mesmerized. G was there to keep me company and he was mesmerized too.

And then they went back to dancing like I am used to seeing college kids dance. Like doing the Dougie to Teach Me How To Dougie. Or the Stanky Legg.
