It involved something called Copperhead Road. And it has its own dance.
As the interim advisor for MSC ALOT, I was at their FLO (just think lots of college freshmen) Formal. All of them were dolled up and fist pumping and such to various jams.
But then Copperhead Road, a country song from the 80s I had never heard, is played and about 300 of them start doing this line dance and hollering along. I was mesmerized. G was there to keep me company and he was mesmerized too.
And then they went back to dancing like I am used to seeing college kids dance. Like doing the Dougie to Teach Me How To Dougie. Or the Stanky Legg.
